My office is located on the first floor of the Department of Chemistry (room 115).

My research activity is mainly devoted to the formulation and characterization of out-of-equilibrium complex fluids. I am using rheology, spectroscopy (such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, NMR), and scattering (small-angle light, x-ray, and neutron scattering) techniques as tools to investigate complex fluids. Some of the main research topics are lyotropic liquid crystals, mechanical-induced transitions, cellulose dissolution, rheological behavior of peptides and proteins, food materials and additives, drug delivery systems, nanomaterials, etc...
